viperj's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2005, year in review 2005 was a slow year. 2005 for me was quite a weird year in the sense I didn't feel like I accomplished anything till maybe the summer. I was single for about 10 months this year, I dated a girl for a few months, but most of my time this year has been chasing girls, and it's been just trying to have a lot of fun. I got a chance to go to the Dominican in February, that was a really fun time, I didn't meet anyone out there and I didnt have any sexual conquests but I'd say it was lots of fun. I attended a few concerts this year: Rise Against, As I lay dying/All that Remains, I saw Alexisonfire, I saw Thrice, and I saw a few other smaller shows, but since it's been a really long time, I dont exactly remember the details of the shows. I dated a really sweet girl for atleast the first month of a two month relationship. Then, after my relationship was over with her, I had met someone else he might've been a few years older than me, and we hit it off to the point that we had a little sexual escapade that was probobly one of my highlights of the year. I hooked up with a 38 year old, and I mean, how many guys my age have wanted to do that. I don't talk about it too much, but in terms of my little 2005 year in review, I'd have to say that story was probobly atleast in the top 5 events of the year. But looking back at everything that's happened this year, I'd have to say the highlight of my year was my trip to Brandon with Jay. I can't tell you the kind of best friends we are. There's what you call "friends" and there's "Best friends" I was always told that best friends are your best friends because you knew their parents! I don't really think of that anymore, but we're pretty brothers in a sense that if we were brothers, we'd be really close. Anyway, we went on a little road trip at the end of October to Brandon Manitoba, and it was such a fun trip. The car ride to Brandon listening to Dane Cook, shitting ourselves laughing, and then the concert in which we were merch guys and some drunk guy wanted a hoodie, a shirt, 2 cd's, all for maybe 15$, that was memorable, or how jay sold a 4 song EP to a guy for 10$, that was just as impressive. During that trip we had met a girl out there, well Jay had met a girl, and it was just fun to go through a few transititions, but most importantly, get out of the city and all the bitching and nagging that comes with this city. So we stayed there a few days, we went to Humpty's for breakfast, we spent tons of money shopping, we went to a few shit hole motels and we changed a sign to "open the sluts." Overall, looking back on pivotel moments this year, that had to have been the biggest moment of the year. It was just a really good trip for both of us, and if anything we'd do it again, and have just as much fun out there in Brandon! In terms of Music, I'd have to say I was thankful for listening to Bullet for My Valentine, they are my favorite band right now and their cd owns! In terms of gaming, the xbox 360 came out mid november. I haven't played the system yet, but you can be sure that I'll have the system next year and I'll play the system for days and weeks at a time. I feel like Im forgetting things that have gone down personally. I know if I'd check my diary for previous entries, I'd be able to find things that have happened that I've forgotten about. Anyway, I'd have to rate the year overall as a disapointing to a great year. It ranged from both feelings. The beginning of the year was disapointing, and now coming close to the homestretch it's been really good and outstanding and everything positive. Meeting "T" pretty much started this trend, and I hope to see much more of her in the 2006 year. Sadly, this is my year in review, so I will bid you adue. I will be leaving tomorrow, so I probobly won't update for a few days, but in that case, take care, be safe on new years, don't drink too much!
